We began capturing the TKTS board on June 10, 2026. Everything in the archive starts from that date.

The TKTS discount booth, run by the nonprofit Theatre Development Fund (TDF), is a Times Square institution — same-day Broadway and Off-Broadway tickets at a steep discount. Its TKTS Live board shows you exactly what's on sale right now — and only right now. Once a show leaves the board, that information is gone.

BoothHistory keeps the receipts. Several times a day we capture the entire TKTS board and store it as an immutable historical snapshot. Over time this builds a searchable archive that can answer questions the official site can't:

  • Was a show available on TKTS on a specific date?
  • How often does a show appear, and at what discount?
  • How have discounts changed over time?
  • Which shows are frequently available — and which rarely appear?

The historical data is the product; the website is just a window into it. Every scrape is preserved verbatim, so the archive only grows more valuable with time.

BoothHistory is an independent project and is not affiliated with TDF or TKTS. Data is collected from publicly available TKTS Live listings for archival and research purposes.
